Sedona, Arizona: There is an amazing sense of stellar genius when it comes to American Idols and Icons and Super Stars. What is it that lures us into their amazingly delicious star studded rhinestone glitter and flash?
The star struck venue puts them on top of the great heap to be idolized and worshipped.

Shake Rattle and Roll shook the world and Elvis turned it upside down! Elvis shook his pelvis on The Ed Sullivan Show, the young and innocent were changed forever.
They got the fever. The girls were all shook up, screaming, fainting and bikini dancing on beaches every where. Elvis showed us how to move and grove and rock and roll. We made him a legend. And we'll never let him die. Never. He'll live forever.

There is a deep rooted love within us when we think about Elvis. Perhaps it is a gentle whisper from memories past when we were young. What really is it that gives us such a rush about Elvis anyway? He gave us the music, soul and rhythm and it makes you wanna dance and romance.

Elvis Look out, cause Elvis of Sedona is in the house. There's Elvis sightings. Everywhere. That voice. Whew. Makes us swoon again and again.

You can hear a buzz in the air. A car honks their horn around Cathedral Rock., an amazing high vibe spot in the energy vortex in Sedona. The people yell out their car windows "Elvis... hey it's Elvis!" He's got the look, and he's got that amazing magnetism. Hard to pin point what to call that feeling you get. Makes you like to be close, makes you feel real good. We all feel it and know what I'm talking about. Heads turn to see where he is... crowds gather... another Elvis sighting. Close your eyes and you know Elvis is in the building. You can feel the soul of Elvis with this guy he is there.

He's not just another impersonator... not by a long shot. He calls in the "Soul of Elvis" and "They" sing. You think you want to try to resist but you can't. There is something almost spiritual that you experience when he's on stage... it's The King. The King of Rock and Roll.

Sedona, AZ: Nothing in this world could be more romantic than seeing a live performance of Elvis. After all, Elvis is "The King!" Elvis is loved by fans on all continents.

There are performers imitating The Great Elvis Presley all over the world. People are still loving him and even to some degree worshipping him. People I have met on this beautiful Kauai Island speak of Elvis as their most cherished memory.

As I listen to the locals talk about Elvis, a glimmer of twinkling star struck light shines from their eyes as they tell a small story about how their lives were touched in a personal way. "Hey, I knew Elvis" "Elvis always sat right here" "He performed here" "He walked here" "I sat next to him" "He was so nice!" "I was a good friend of Elvis!" You know, the stories are so touching; Elvis touched the souls of so many.

Kauai, also known as the spiritual garden island is the beautiful island oasis where Blue Hawaii was filmed. The home of the famous Coco Palms Hotel - yes that special spot where the King of Rock and Roll entertained us. Probably the most famous and loved Elvis film of all times is Blue Hawaii. Many boast they've watched the film hundreds of times. Fragments of the past still remain of the authentic Coco Palms Hotel after a hurricane passed through many years ago. The romantic quality of this tranquil oasis remains.

The Wailua River carries long ago memories of romance, song and starry eyed fans. Couples travel near and far to gaze upon a whisper of a past memory of a romantic moment lost in time and cherished in the hearts of the hopelessly romantic souls.

I recently visited the original "Blue Hawaii" location where the movie Blue Hawaii was filmed. As we walked through the last remnants of the soon to be torn down Coco Palms Hotel you could still feel the spiritual presence of "The King of Rock and Roll." There was the stage where Elvis sang and there was the hotel suite where Elvis stayed. Looking in the window your heart skips a beat, somehow feeling that maybe you'd see the amazing icon.

I saw a performance of none other than "Elvis of Sedona" fully dressed to the max as "Elvis" performing live at The Hilton with another Hawaiian icon on the Island of Kauai, Larry Rivera. Rivera performed at the Coco Palms with Elvis back in the good ol' days and explaining that Elvis paid him $ 55.00 to sing him a song. "Elvis was my friend," says Rivera.

Locals call him "Uncle Larry". Rivera has a wonderful spirit that carries a beautiful light of joy and happiness. His cherished memories of Elvis emanate through his performances. He performs original Hawaiian love songs and is also the only one that does the Blue Hawaii weddings at The Coco Palms Hotel; all a reenactment of the Blue Hawaii Wedding as seen in The Blue Hawaii Movie. The blowing of the conch shells, floating down the river in a canoe filled with beautiful flowers, strumming a ukulele with two handsome Hawaiian men wearing cotton cloth Hawaiian wraps - a totally authentic Hawaiian experience.

Imagine,seeing Elvis floating along a tiny river in a paddle canoe strumming a little ukulele and singing authentic Hawaiian Love Songs in a place they call Paradise. The fragrance of tropical exotic blossoms fills the air. A romantic moment in time... A moment in time often remembered and cherished by the romantic. Heart felt memories of long ago...

Sedona, AZ: Elvis tribute artist singer "Elvis of Sedona" has a whole lot of singin' goin' on. He's been singing Elvis since he was 10 years old. Elvis of Sedona sang in Cutters Night Club in Beaumont, Texas, and sang with lots of great stars throughout the years. And he is the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. His fans are all ages.

Elvis of Sedona (VJ Mitchell) sang with Tracy Byrd, Clay Walker, Mark Nessler, Mark Chestnutt, and was recently in New York City on America's Got Talent as Elvis and as a country singer.

He can sing anything and everything and it is amazing to hear his voice. Amazing Grace fills a room with divine inspiration when he sings gospel. His voice is so powerful he doesn't need music in a background. During his live performances he uses professional back-up sound music.

VJ Mitchell was born in Beaumont, and grew up in the Hill Country in Vidor, Texas.  He spent his early years in Louisiana, so he's a Cajun Texas boy with an adorable, authentic southern accent. He's a real country boy with a pure heart of Gold.
